Heating Comfortably
Thanks to its 230V system, the Thermo Floor can do without the annoying transformer in the room, which low-voltage systems require. The heating system, which consists of a heating mat as well as an equalisation mat for the unheated areas, is available in two different sets to meet the requirements of various room sizes. The system is controlled by means of a comfort regulator which can be programmed as desired. A coating of aluminium ensures that the heat produced by heating conductors spaced only 50 mm apart is evenly transferred to the flooring. Overheating is impossible, as additional safety is ensured by a temperature limiting device, which intervenes if the floor temperature sensor should ever fail. The comfort regulator, temperature limiter and temperature sensor are also available as a set.

Easy to Install
The heating system is not only suitable for newly built houses, but also ideal for renovating and modernising. Installation takes little effort—the integration of the heating mats is quick and simple to perform as part of the floor installation. Only 2 mm in height, the mats can easily be sandwiched between the insulating underlay and the flooring. A particularly suitable product in this context is HARO's resilient Silent Pro luxury insulation underlay. And here is some good news for do-it-yourselfers: No time-consuming and expensive floor screeding is required.

Energy-Saving
The AEG Thermo Floor has even more to offer than easy installation and use: It also helps to save energy, which is an important decision factor in times of high energy prices. The pleasant heat from the Thermo Floor warms people and objects directly, with no detour through the room air. The heat that the body takes up from the floor feels so comfortable that the room temperature can be lowered by about two degrees Celsius. Another advantage of underfloor heating is that the domestic heating system can be switched on as much as two or three months later.

In addition, the new underfloor heating system is capable of saving even more energy as it can be controlled according to individual needs. Thanks to its excellent thermal insulation, the AEG Thermo Floor will heat up in only 15 to 30 minutes (in new houses), which is considerably faster than with water-based underfloor heating systems.
The system is controlled by an intelligent, easy-to-use comfort regulator. All one needs do is set the time when it should be warm and cosy — and the regulator will calculate the heat-up time.
