Hamberger Industriewerke GmbH as it is known today was founded more than 150 years ago during the pioneering era of the industrialisation of the 19th century. From its origins as a sawmill, match factory and brickworks, the family business has developed into a global company group with 2,600 employees, whose core business lies in the manufacture of wood flooring and WC seats. Today, just as in former times, the company headquarters of this global player are located in Stephanskirchen near Rosenheim.
