Today’s Hamberger Industriewerke GmbH traces its origins to more than 150 years ago, during the pioneering era of 19th-century industrialization. Starting with a sawmill, a match factory, and a brickworks, the family-owned business grew into a global company whose core operations today include the manufacture of toilet seats as well as real estate management and development. Today, as in the past, the headquarters of this globally active company is located in Stephanskirchen near Rosenheim.
